Meet Clive, our 7-year-old turkey whose journey to sanctuary is one of resilience and compassion.
Clive was originally destined to become a Thanksgiving turkey, but thankfully, his story took a very different turn. At just four months old, he arrived at our sanctuary and has been part of our family ever since.
Turkeys are incredibly intelligent, social animals with unique personalities, and Clive is certainly no exception. These days, you’ll rarely find him without his tag-along—the Sheriff—and his sidekick, Goose, close behind.
Clive is also great friends with all three of our piggies, but Daphne will always be his girl. ❤️ After a day of roaming the sanctuary with his crew, he still loves to nestle up with Daphne at night.
Here, Clive is free to roam, explore, soak up the sunshine, choose his friends and simply be himself.
Once destined for someone’s Thanksgiving table, Clive has instead been given the chance to grow old, form incredible friendships and live a full, natural life—and that is what sanctuary is all about. 🦃🌿
