Meet Cruz, our sweet senior dachshund and one of the littlest members of our family.
Cruz was rescued from a puppy mill, where his early life was far from what any dog deserves. Despite his difficult beginning, he has become one of the most loyal little dogs you could ever meet. He is my constant companion, following me just about everywhere and always wanting to be close.
Over the years, our little Cruzer has faced his share of health challenges, including pancreatic and gastrointestinal issues. More recently, he has also been diagnosed with heart disease and a heart murmur, making every day we have with him that much more special.
Through it all, Cruz continues to be our sweet, loyal little shadow. These days, senior life is all about keeping him comfortable, loved and surrounded by his family.
We are so grateful we found our little Cruzer and that he gets to spend his senior years exactly where he belongs—safe, spoiled and incredibly loved. ❤️🐾
