At just 6 months old, Zeppelin has already weathered more than she should.
This sweet puppy came to us after being surrendered to the shelter with a painful, swollen hematoma on her ear — an injury likely caused by a bite or some kind of forceful trauma.
After undergoing surgery to repair her ear, it was discovered that Zeppelin is actually deaf. Suddenly, her world made a little more sense — But Zeppelin doesn’t let her hearing loss define her. She is smart, resilient, and learning every day.
We’ve started introducing her to American Sign Language (ASL), and she’s already picking it up beautifully. With patience and love, Zeppelin is on her way to living a joyful, full life — just like any other dog.
