This sweet girl came to us after being surrendered to the shelter as a pup with a painful, swollen hematoma on her ear — an injury likely caused by a bite or some kind of forceful trauma.
After undergoing surgery to repair her ear, it was discovered that Zeppelin is actually deaf. Suddenly, her world made a little more sense — But Zeppelin doesn’t let her hearing loss define her. She is smart, resilient, and learning every day.
Zeppelin interacts with us using American Sign Language (ASL) and body language. With patience and love, Zeppelin is now living a joyful, full life — just like any other dog.
